Athlete Bio: I started skiing at my family’s ski area when I was two years and started racing at five. I’m the son of 1972 Olympic Slalom Gold Medalist Barbara Ann Cochran and the youngest child of the 3rd generation “skiing Cochrans.” When I was 8 years old I skied into and broke through a window at the Cochran’s Ski Area lodge, and luckily I didn’t get hurt (except for one inconvenient cut). Four of my cousins recently started a maple sugaring operation, “Slopeside Syrup”, which is where I spend some of my time while home. I also enjoy mountain biking, soccer, baseball, basketball, football, and almost any other sport.
Something you think everyone should try in their lifetime: Pure-made Vermont Fancy Maple Syrup
Age you learned to shred: 2
Craziest Dream: I once dreamt that I drove off the cliff of a quarry and died. Then I woke up in the dream when the ambulance arrived but no one was able to notice or help me because I was already a ghost.
What excites you: The first day of ski season, mexican food, techno music, and the ladies.
Other: Some friends gave me the nickname “Puppy,” for my cute innocent charm, loyalty to friends, and sometimes I need to be shown the way.
