ABOUT ME: I was born in Colorado where I grew up on a cattle ranch riding horses and skiing at the local mountain of Sunlight. I started racing when I was 5 and raced all over Colorado with different teams before I ended up in Aspen for two years, and then with Rowmark Ski Academy in Salt Lake City before I made the US Ski Team in 2008. I raced one year with the Development Team before starting my first year racing World Cup last season. Last season was a crazy ride for me! I went into the season hoping I would place top 30 and ended up cracking the top 10 in my third World Cup race ever in Lake Louise, Canada. I kept up my momentum, qualified for the Olympics in Vancouver, and ended up top 20 in the world in the Downhill standings.

I enjoy many things but skiing most of all! I like to ride my horse, go on crazy raft trips, mountain bike, hike, camp, play tennis, or anything else that goes on outdoors! Watching a good movie, listening to country music and enjoying theoutdoors and hanging out with my family are crucial parts to my life!

SOMETHING YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD TRY IN THEIR LIFETIME: Do some good! Charity work, does not matter if you go to Africa and word in refugee camp or not, you can go help your own community out in many different ways. It feels good to help people and you are doing some good so you cannot go wrong with that!
CRAZIEST DREAM: I have the same dream a lot. I am skiing and making huge, downhill turns, I see a big jump ahead, and I know if I hit it, I am going to break every bone in my body but I keep going anyway, hit the jump and just start flying. The biggest air I could ever imagine, I land perfectly and do not break every bone in my body and keep skiing, hitting huge jumps and totally shredding in my dream. It is a dream that freaks me out but I like to have it at the same time.
AGE YOU LEARNED TO SHRED: I started shredding at 2 years old.
WHAT EXCITES YOU?: Skiing, skiing powder, a good country song, finding money stuck in my jeans that I didn’t know I had, hiking a new trail, going on adventures in the dark, there are many simple things in life that excite me but those are a few of them!
OTHER: It’s all about making sick turns!.
